Workshop on Pulsed Electric Fields juice and potato processing in Capetown, SA.

On September 4th we will conduct an event focussing on Pulsed Electric Field Processing for fruit and vegetable industry. 

One of the major application areas of the technique is conditioning of potatos prior to cutting and slicing in chips and fries manufacture. 

The workshop will include an introduction to the technology, a discussion of applications as well as a demo activity. 

The event is jointly organized by the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL), elea and CPUT and will take place at the CPUT premises in Belville, South Africa.
