How does Elea PEF work?

We created this nice and easy to understand animation about the Pulsed Electric Fields principle to explain the gentle and fully electro-physical treatment of vegetables, fruits and liquids. It shows the ability to achieve several process benefits and how to extend shelf life of juices and various other liquids whilst retaining vitamins and other nutrients.

In this Video we show you the process of the development and the implementation of a Pulsed Electric Field Belt System into the production line of the German manufacturer of potato products and delicatessen salads Wernsing Feinkost GmbH in 2012. The Elea PEF systems can handle throughputs of up to 50 t potatoes per hour.
